Guy Ben-Ner (born in Ramat Gan, Israel, 1969) currently lives and works in Tel Aviv. He studied at Hamidrasha School of Art at Beit Berl College and received an MFA from Columbia University in New York. Ben-Ner has shown internationally at venues including the Conteporary Arts Center (CAC), Cincinneti; The Museum of Modern Art P.S.1. (MoMA PS1), New York; The Center for Contemporary Art (CCA), Tel Aviv; Musée d’Art Contemporain Montreal (MACM). In 2009, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) presented his retrospective exhibition. As well, Ben-Ner’s work was included in Skulptur Projekte 2007, Münster; the Shanghai and the Liverpool Biennials. He was commissioned for Performa Biennial and last summer participated in Manifesta 10 in St. Petersburg in Russia. LOOK is pleased to present Ben-Ner for the first time in Hungary with two videos.
