On the first weekend of November LUK presents Eszter Szabó's exhibition either me or you are as part of NANOEVENTS, a 2-day program organised by Kápolna co-space with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Hungary.
We seek and recognize the world only through our own preconceptions. We project – and if possible – control. Can we, for a moment, be jolted out of this subjective cognitive process? What happens if what we see resists the status quo and comes into being of its own right? The exhibition either me or you are will not answer these questions. But the protagonist of the video installation at least tries to represent her prespective, reflecting on the relationship between the viewer, the artist and the subject.
